For many years London was the over-riding focus of the league in Britain, and understandably so. Being a city of 8 million people and the focus for most of the Australians who choose to travel to these shores it is by far the largest region for AFL in this country.

All of this means that for a long time the London league was the only one around, therefore all BARFL records before the establishment of other regions have been included here.
