London Region

London RegionLondon Region

By far the most established and largest league in the country, the London region was founded in 1989 and has been growing and getting stronger every season. Many of the founding clubs are still in existence, with nearly all of the clubs fielding teams in not one but two or even three divisions.

The Premiership is the main competition and the one that clubs want to win the most. Contested by six clubs, strong rules around EU involvment mean that Brits get tested at the very highest of levels in the country. Below this is the Conference, which with more relaxed nationality rules is the second tier in the region. Finally is the Social league, which was established in 2007 to allow the larger clubs to give all of their players a game.
