National Governing Body

AFL Britain is in the process of applying to Sport England to become the official National Governing Body for Australian Rules Football in the UK.  Unofficially it currently holds this mantle, and is working towards bringing together all of those involved in the game in any way and shaping them into a dynamic organisation to continue to lead AFL in this country throughout the new century.

As the national governing body, AFL Britain is ultimately responsible for growing the game in the country, as well as supporting all those with the same aims.  Of course, AFL Britain also works with the AFL, who are the ultimate governing body for the sport in the world.
