Led by best on ground Nicole 'traitor' Borzatti, one of 3 Aussies playing for the Gaelic girls, Tara dominated the first half with their superior fitness and teamwork. Fired up by a half-time speech by the supercoach, the Aussie girls tackled ferociously and managed to work their way back into the game with some great goals. In the end it was not enough, with Tara scoring a well-deserved 32 to 15 victory. A great game played in great spirit - well done to all the girls. Football (and Tara) was the winner!

The London Hawks took on Tara 'Ladies' Gaelic football team in a match of Australian football at the 2008
ANZAC Sports Challenge. This match is becoming a tradition at ANZAC Cup, with the first ever women's match in Britain taking place during the 2007 event, and the standard seems to be getting better every year.
