An amazing weekend of semi-finals footy saw potentially a new favourite emerge from the pack, with Putney defeating West London 10.10 (70) to 9.6 (60).  However, as ever Wandsworth are showing their strength with a 14.16 (100) 5.10 (40) victory over North London to continue the trend for round number scorelines.  With the Grand Final approaching fast there is still a little momentum left to wrestle around, and at this rate there will be no teams going into the final with overarching confidence.

In the Conference both the Raiders and the Demons misplaced their goalscoring shoes, kicking nearly twice as many behinds as goals which is most unlike two of the top teams in the division.  However it was the indomitable Raiders who were least wasteful, winning 8.12 (60) 4.11 (35).  In the days other match the Magpies showed them both how to do it, beating the Lions 18.14 (122) 6.5 (41).  Could this be the year that the Magpies sweep the board?

The social division saw Balham and Nottingham overcoming Bounds Green and Bristol respectively.
