The Peace Team, made up of Palestine and Israeli players, were competing in their first ever International Cup and did well to score the first IC goal in their history, but the Bulldogs were always going to prove too strong and powerful for their less experienced opponents. The Bulldogs will be hoping to carry this form through to their next match against Nauru on Friday. Nauru themselves were beaten by one of the pre-tournament favourites, Papau New Guinea, in a game described as the best of the round. Other victors included Ireland, New Zealand and USA amongst others.
