Firstly, well done to all of you who registered with the AFL Great Britain website, hundreds of you did as required and gave us your details – thanks!
We have to hold our hands up and say that there were a few technical glitches, with the sheer volume of people signing up at the same time meaning some users found it difficult to complete the entire process. To fix this we have now activated every single account, so all of you will be able to sign up to the site and make full use of all of the extra features.
What this does mean however is that a small number of users details are incomplete, so we’d like to ask you all to sign on when you get the chance and check everything is working and complete. Just log in with your normal username and password and click on your name in the ‘Who’s Online’ box. You’ll then be able to go into your profile and edit your details, most importantly checking that you are with the right team should you be a player. If you don’t do this you won’t be added to your club’s list – bad times! A quick check will mean everything keeps running smoothly – good times!
Should you have any problems simply e-mail us and we'll do our best to help you out.

We work hard to pull together stories and articles from
around the country and publish them on the AFL Great Britain website or in this
very newsletter, but no matter how hard we try there are always stories that we
miss – we’re not the BBC after all.
That’s why we’re putting this call out to all of you, the people on the
ground around the leagues who know what’s happening ‘in the field’ (sounds all
armed forces, doesn’t it?).

Four rounds into the ARUK Southern England Division
sponsored by Walkabout and the Sussex Swans are currently sitting in second
spot and looking good. At this early
stage in the year the Swans are hoping to maintain this early season form and
go one better than last time around, when they lost to the Titans (who
currently sit above them in first place) in a surprisingly one-sided Grand
Final.
