In football, agility is the ability to change direction quickly. An agile player is able to get up off the ground, recover and balance or baulk or get around an opponent in a confined space. There is no standard agility run used in football. A coach can develop a simple agility run involving short sprints and sharp turns around a set of markers. The degree of difficulty can be varied according to the age and ability level of the team. |
